The transparent containers ensure timely topping up during routine
maintenance and serves as a visual indicator of battery " state of health." The
leak proof sealing of container to cover prevents corrosion of the connectors
& terminals. The abundant electrolyte head on plate tops makes this cell
ideally suited for remote location solar photovoltaic applications. |

The cells are usually supplied in dry charged conditin to enable
commissioning charge at the user's end leading to savings on charging cost at
the customer's premises. The cells for UPS applications and solar photovoltaic applications have varying performace characteristics and hence need to be
